It was here that Daniel Boulud launched the db Burger in 2001, the starting the gourmet hamburger craze in 2001 that took the world by storm. Stuffed with red wine-braised short ribs and foie gras, it continues to be a main attraction, alongside classic French dishes that are both comforting and traditional.
Our bar offers a broad selection of libations to appeal to all tastes. However diverse our spirit selection, whisk(e)y is king with over 50 American Bourbons and Ryes, 50 Single Malt Scotches, and various other whiskeys from around the world. The cocktail list features tried and true classic preparations, incorporating seasonal ingredients with a modern twist.
Our wine cellar represents the bounty and terroir of regional France, with a focus on classic wines often seen in a bistro setting. Our goal is to showcase the myriad styles and impressive qualities of such wines, from ethereal Burgundy, to the structured Rhône, and everything in between. In addition, our guests will find a fine selection of domestic wines sourced from California to our native New York, and dating from the mid-20th Century to current release. Many full bottles are available under $60 and our cellar, though concise, offers something for every palate and plate.
